The Crestmead resident has continued to press for the No.1 overall spot at the end of the circuit, claiming seven points after being named the New South Wales Open B1 nett champion.
Niciejewski fired 73 on the first day and 51 on the second to finish with a three over par 124, 50 shots clear of second place.
The Chambers Pines player said it was his faultless back nine which set up his dominant win.
‘‘Everything was just coming off perfect – my drivers were hitting the middle and all my shots were great,’’ Niciejewski said.
‘‘It is the lowest back nine score I have ever had at any competition.’’
The talented player also recorded a 230 gross score, the best out of any B1 player at the competition and secured the closest to the pin award on the first day. The title has made it three from three for Niciejewski who won the Victorian and Australian stableford championships earlier this year and the in-form stroke player said it couldn’t have happened without his caddie and wife Jodie Niciejewski.
‘‘She did a great job on the bag and lined me up perfectly over the two days,’’ Niciejewski said.
He will now prepare to keep his perfect record intact when he takes to the Western Australia stableford championship and Australian Open this month and November.
